Welcome to the Clarendon Hotel, a spacious, comfortable traditional hotel on the edge of the Royal Hundred, Blackheath. It comes as no surprise that, situated in the midst of beautiful and historic Greenwich and Blackheath, our hotel has its own history. Stone from the old London Bridge was reported to have been used in the construction of the hotel, and this stone can still be seen today. The Clarendon once housed the rich Georgian merchants and shipbuilders that lived in Blackheath and worked in the famous dockyards at Deptford & Greenwich. In keeping with the merchants' standard, practical business sense combined with a love of the sea and the good things in life, we hope we have created a hotel they would be proud of.
The Clarendon offers easy access to the centre of London, for business or for pleasure. London Bridge is merely 6 miles away, no time at all by train, car, bus or even by boat up the Thames. Why stay in the crush of Central London, when you can enjoy one of London's most celebrated, most visited and most attractive areas? Locally there is much to see and much to do.
